In The Shadow of Longs Peak
Arkansas River to Lake Pueblo

As with this outing in 2014, we put-in for this is route on the Arkansas River, at Highway 115 near Florence and took out at the Sparrow site on the north side of Lake Pueblo. This time I used my sea kayak and I think the flow was higher than 2014 as it seemed more difficult river and definitely moved right along with downed trees are to be avoided.
Sue, Jay and Chris were on this trip. Sue took a swim. Due to the flow and no eddys, it took a while to get her and her boat reunited.
