A Boulder County Open Space located off the Peak-to-Peak Highway, west of Mud Lake

Today's destination was Caribou Open Space, outside of Nederland, Colorado.  There is a sense that the trees are ready to turn but there is still lots of green especially in the grass.  One concept that interest me in the idea that most of the nature I see is not pristine and displays the intrusion of humans.  But then, my day-to-day life would be so much more difficult without electricity, computers, roads, cars, etc.  Man has intruded but I hope that we can do a better job of maintain an awareness and limiting harmful impacts.
