Lake Owyhee Oregon

After visiting with Gary's family at their reunion on Crescent Lake in the Oregon Cascades over Labor Day, we headed east with a planned stop and self-supported paddle at Lake Owyhee.
The temperatures were suppose to moderate but it was really hot, almost too hot to paddle and the flies about ate us alive!
However, it was a really pretty lake and I would like to go back there but in cooler weather
