A trip out to see Kari who had moved from San Juan Island to Seattle

I don't have a write up of this trip but it is one of the most memorable road trips, perhaps because there were many new places starting with Northern Wyoming and one of the ancient Native American sites that I first learned about reading about the Grand Teton and 'the enclosure' that I still have not visited.  Then, onto Montana, then down the Lochsaw River in Idaho popping out at Lewiston and Clarkson into Eastern Washington.  On into Seatlle to fetch Kari and her new pal America and on to Lake Quinault and an exploratory of the Washington Coast along the Olympic Peninsula.   She had just gotten America and was in process of packing and moving to a studio in West Seattle where she lived for about 10 years.
