In The Shadow of Longs Peak
Horsetooth Reservoir
A long narrow reservoir shaped like a horse tooth west of Fort Collins. We access it at the north end in Lory State Park
Our hike at Lory in March 2011 inspired us to paddle here on May 21 2011, putting in at Lory State Park and we paddled here again on 22 September 2012 as a training trip for our first Powell self-supported trip.
